LINPAC PACKAGING’s Rfresh Elite® (GB2478028) is a patent sealing technology used for food packaging.
The Rfresh Elite® is a weightless, profoundly clean tray which is tough and dependable. The food is safe and can be put in uniformly. The tray unlike any other is very environmental – friendly. It can be recycled and is manufactured from the consumer’s recycled substances but by reducing the carbon by 5% keeping in mind the effectiveness and integrity of the product.
The cost of production is low and if preserved in low temperatures it results in saving of 15% energy. It is very transparent and manufactured from 95% rPET. When compared to the prior models designs, this are 70 microns less. In November 2015, it has won the in the Sustainable Packaging category, PackTheFuture and Plastics Industry Award. It took 2 years for the innovation team of LINPAC to come with unique tray.
It was developed under the company’s Lightweighting For Excellence (LIFE) initiative. If the PE base lamination is taken out, the try weight is even more reduced by around 3%. The removal of the PE base film lamination reduces tray weight by approximately 3% . If one is looking for meat and poultry packers, then this is the final destination.
